Meet and Greet

Prior to starting any of our services we provide a free in-home meet and greet for you and your dog. This gives us the opportunity to meet you directly, discuss your requirements and tailor the services to you and your pet’s needs. We fill out the pet profile form and if you are happy with us we can then schedule your dog’s first walk or Pet Sit.

Walks    Why you may need our services

Your dog will have a great 60 minutes up the mountains, on the beach or in the park (not including travelling time). There’s lots of interesting dogs to hang out with, providing lots of exercise, fun, frolics and play whilst getting their daily exercise fix. Walking dogs like this often helps prevent and correct your dog’s behavioural problems through socializing within a group of dogs.

  • You're going away - but your pet can't come.

  • You’re just too busy during the week.

  • You travel often and need someone to rely on for proper pet care.

  • You fancy a weekend away and you don’t want to inconvenience family, friends or neighbours.

  • There’s an emergency or something unexpected happens.

  • Hectic time at work, you just haven't got the energy and the weather is miserable too!

  • You won’t leave your dog in kennels or stuffy day crèches.

  Pet Sitting

Happy Dogs boarding is a great alternative to caged kennels and means when your dogs can't come with you, they can stay in an environment that puts them at ease and gives you peace of mind knowing that they will be exercised, fed and looked after with care and attention.
Call us and we’ll attend to whatever your dogs needs are. We’re in the business of looking after dogs, it’s what we do. If you feel you’re going to inconvenience others - call and get your dog professionally looked after.

We offer 3 types of Dog Sitting

1. At Happy Dogs. A Home from Home (the whole of Dublin).

Includes 60 minute fun filled Walk with Lots of Care & Attention Your dog becomes like a member of the family with all the comforts of home. Being happy and secure, having free run of the home and getting all the exercise, love and attention they're used to.
You will have the chance to meet us with your dog/s before the stay, so you can assure yourself of their suitability for complete peace of mind.  You can also ensure that your dog's routine is stuck to as closely as possible. We ask owners to provide food, bedding, toys, basically anything that you think will settle your dog in as quickly as possible and to ensure that they feel at home as much as they possibly can.

We cover the whole of Dublin and can usually provide a pick up and drop off service for your dogs for even greater convenience. Home boarding means we are more flexible than a kennel for pick up and drop off times.

2. In dogs own home where we stay overnight and keep the dog company. (limited to our dog walking suburbs).

We stay in your home keeping your dog company, your dog stays in their everyday environment feeling relaxed and secure and avoiding exposure to illness from other animals. You have the extra benefit of having someone in your house at night.

This is a good option where your dog mightn’t be suitable for home boarding, because of its size or barking or some destructive characteristic, etc. Includes 60 minute fun filled Walk with Tons of Care & Attention.

3. Dogs are in their own home visited daily with 60 min walk. (limited to our dog walking suburbs).
Your dog stays at home in its everyday environment and is visited 1-3 times daily, fed and walked as prearranged. It is the cheapest option of the three if visited once a day. This is also a good option where your dog mightn’t be suitable for home boarding with us. Your dog provides 24 hour security using this option, but will be on its own for long periods of time. That’s why we’d recommend two visits a day if you go for this option. But it’s entirely up to you.

All services are based on availability; for peak holiday periods i.e. Bank Holidays, Easter,
Christmas, School mid-terms and June to September you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
